| The Loon's 2008 baseball season was kicked off with the honorable first pitch thrown out by Wiley Bachmann. Catching for Wiley was his dad Jake, 3rd baseman for the Vergas Loons. Wiley is the son of Shantel and Jake Bachmann. Wiley was diagnosed with lukemia at the end of last year's baseball season. The team was excited and blessed to have Wiley well enough to throw out the first pitch. |
